I am excited to introduce the first edition of The TORCH newsletter for The Way Church! This monthly e-newsletter aims to keep everyone informed about the exciting happenings at The Way.
Ground Zero: A Night of Fellowship and Vision
Join us for Ground Zero, starting on Thursday, September 7th, at 6pm, hosted at Pastor Steve’s house. Ground Zero will be a special gathering featuring Bible study, prayer, food, and fellowship. It’s an opportunity to connect with fellow believers and explore the vision that God has laid upon The Way Church for Wadsworth. We encourage everyone interested in attending The Way to come and get to know each other better. Keep an eye out for the Facebook event invitation, which will be sent out soon!
Looking Ahead: Sunday Morning Services in April 2024
While we continue to seek God’s specific will, we tentatively plan to commence Sunday morning church services at the end of April 2024. This gives us approximately eight months to organize ourselves, secure a location, build ministry teams (MISSION Kids, Discipleship, Worship team, Greeting, etc.), raise funds, seek God’s power and guidance, and invite our friends to join The Way Church.
Prayer Needs
Please continue to pray for God’s provision for The Way. Renting a building for our members to call home will be our most significant expense, likely ranging between $1800 and $2500 per month. We trust that God is already making a way and will supply all our needs.
The Way Church also envisions being a blessing to the people of Wadsworth. We are committed to meeting tangible needs as a bridge for individuals to encounter Christ and have their spiritual needs met. As our outreach grows over time, we will require funding to bless our community even more.
I want to express my gratitude to those who have already started giving and encourage others to prayerfully consider contributing financially to The Way Church. We also request prayer for the formation of our team. On the upcoming Ground Zero meeting on September 7th, I will introduce a couple of our official team leaders. Please pray that our team continues to grow and solidify around the vision God has given this new church.
