Good afternoon friends of The Way Church,
I hope you are all enjoying the summer and making the most of every moment! I wanted to share some updates about the exciting progress happening at The Way Church and give glory to God for His work in our early stages as a church.
Ground Zero: Our first Ground Zero meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 7th at 6 pm. We are expecting around 20 to 30 adults to attend this initial core group meeting. During the first couple of sessions, we will get to know each other better, share our vision for the church, and introduce our leadership team. In late September, we will begin a bible study through the book of Nehemiah. We’ll be providing pizza for everyone attending the meeting, so no need to worry about dinner on the 7th. If you plan on joining us, please RSVP as “GOING” on the Facebook event page or email us at info@thewayonline.org, so we can ensure there’s enough food! Please continue to pray that God leads the right people to be a part of this meeting.
Building: Some of our team members, including Pastor Dave, Pastor Steve, Eric Bell, and Loire Fox, recently visited a potential building location for our church. There is a lot of potential in this space, and we are at the early stages of our fundraising campaign to secure it. We ask for your prayers that the Lord provides the necessary funds for this step. We are very close to our goal, but we need additional financial support to make it a reality. We are incredibly grateful for everyone who has already donated to The Way. Your contributions are playing a crucial role in fulfilling God’s calling for us. As the Lord has commanded us to reach out to people from all walks of life, your outside financial support helps us be obedient to this divine call. We are thrilled about the doors God has opened for The Way Church. His hand is undoubtedly with us and guiding us as we embark on this journey to launch a new church. The next Torch Newsletter will be sent in September unless there is breaking news that requires immediate attention.
